1986 Isuzu Trooper II Turbo Diesel 4dr, 65k original miles. Nice. in Agnew, Washington For Sale

There may be nicer TD's out there, but I don't know where they might be. Second owner (me). Purchased from original owner with 59,619 miles. I've put xxxx+ on it this summer. A two door in Texas with 71,000 miles sold on eBay last December for around $xxxx, and I believe the 4 door is a scarcer vehicle. Just turned 64k today (1/14/xxxx)...it is my daily driver, after all...OK...said it was my daily driver, so it now has 65,300+ miles on her as of 5/1/14....
White 4 dr, with some minor modifications (nothing that alters the vehicle, but practical), to wit: heavy duty torsion bars (original ones included in sale), extra leaf in rear springs (combo raises the vehicle about 1" overall), rancho shocks, am/fm/cd player with two 6" speakers installed in front doors and two 6x9 in back top above rear door, gauge cluster center top of dash registering volts, boost and brake vacuum (look like factory install and easily removed if wanted), headlight relays installed for 100 watt halogens (stock lights are currently in use). Warn lock outs in front (not original...but original hubs are included), and driving lights mounted to front bumper with interior switch below dash. Also has a set of storage bins specifically made for the Trooper in the late 80's (see photo...has had an "extra" carpet on top of the original since new).
Undercarriage of the Trooper was completely painted with zinc paint when it was new, and there is zero rust on the frame or undercar components. Everything works. Turbo spools up perfectly and has plenty of power (for a Trooper...remember, this is NOT a turbo GTI! It will get you where you want to go in class, but if you try to burn rubber, you will burn up something else....)
Not perfect...small tear bottom of seat back, small tear in headliner back passenger side corner, small rust spot at bottom of back driver side window. Couple of very small dimples in body. Original paint, and original owner added the bumper strips on the lower body to protect it in parking lots.
I get 29-30mpg in town. Don't drive enough on the highway to have a figure for that, but think 32-34 is a reasonable assumption. And, think about a bio conversion. This is one of the best engines to do that with. All you would have to do is change the rubber fuel lines, but your homemade biodiesel in her, and go!
Gen 1 rods (which are fine if you don't get into the high revs for long periods of time), and vehicle has been extremely well taken care of all of its life (see photo of engine compartment and front undercarriage). Carpets are like new, but the cloth on the door and side panels show the ubiquitous stains that Troopers of this year are famous for (and it's been garaged most of its' life).
I've got early 90's Amigo wheels on it now with Toyo 800 Spectrum 225/75/15 tires (original size for vehicle), and have the full set of original wheels including center caps and trim rings.
